The candid adult series offers an intimate and unfiltered look at three couples as they navigate through critical periods in their relationships ? focusing on the significant as well as the everyday moments. Included in the 4-disc DVD set are four audio commentaries featuring the show?s creator/executive producer Cynthia Mort and actors talking about the explicit nature of the show. The critically acclaimed series, called ?bold and important?? by the San Francisco Chronicle, has been discussed and reviewed by The View, Entertainment Weekly ,O Magazine, The New York Time and many more. The series has been renewed for a second season. The talented cast includes: Tim DeKay (HBO?s Carnivale) and Ally Walker (Profiler), as Dave and Katie, a couple in their 40s who are outwardly happy, but have stopped having sex; Sonya Walger (Lost) and Adam Scott (Knocked Up), as 30-something Carolyn and Palek, who want to have a baby, but find the pressures to get pregnant taking a toll on them; and Michelle Borth (Wonderland) and Luke Farrell Kirby (Slings and Arrows), as Jamie and Hugo, a couple in their 20?s who are engaged, but trying to resolve issues with fidelity. Linking the ensemble together is Jane Alexander (Emmy winner for HBO?s Warm Springs) as Dr. May Foster, an intense and complicated woman who has a few unresolved issues of her own, but manages to share a partnership with her husband that is both loving and passionate.
