Stephen Hopkins

Stephen Hopkins (born in 1958) is a Jamaican born British film director and producer. In 2004 he directed the controversial biopic The Life and Death of Peter Sellers which raised the ire of the actor's son Michael Sellers.
Hopkins was a co-executive producer for the first season of the Fox action drama 24, and also directed half of the season's episodes, including the first and last episodes. It is rumored that Hopkins was not satisfied with Fox's plans for the second season, as well as the decision to kill off Leslie Hope's Teri Bauer, and he elected not to return.
