Rami Malek (Arabic: رامي مالك‎; born May 12, 1981) is an American actor.
Malek was born in Los Angeles, California of Egyptian descent. He played Kenny in the Fox network sitcom The War at Home. He also guest starred in an episode of Medium, an episode of Gilmore Girls, and two episodes of Over There.

Malek appeared as the pharaoh Ahkmenrah in the 2006 comedy film, Night at the Museum, as well as its sequel Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian in 2009. He also voiced additional characters in Halo 2, but wasn't credited.
Malek received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the University of Evansville. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
In the spring of 2007, Malek appeared in the Vitality Productions theatrical presentation of "The Credeaux Canvas" by Keith Bunin.
