I tried really, really hard to dislike this show. Everything about it screams rehash. Yet, for some odd reason, the show really grows on you. Maybe its how charming Rachel Bilson is. Maybe its the often snappy dialogue. Maybe cause Tim Matheson is in it (who doesn't like Tim Matheson!). Maybe its a weird combination of all three. Who knows. What I do know is that I want to dislike Hart of Dixie and I don't. Perhaps you too will try to hate it and enjoy it instead. I guess you'll just have to see for yourself.

Watch out BlueBell, Alabama, there's a new girl in town! On October 2, 2012, Warner Home Video brings you the series that has touched the hearts of millions of viewers, Hart of Dixie: The Complete First Season. Rachel Bilson (The O.C.) leads a stellar ensemble cast in this fish-out-of-water comedic drama about small-town living, big-city attitudes and complicated love triangles. Executive produced by Leila Gerstein (Gossip Girl), Josh Schwartz (Gossip Girl, Chuck, The O.C.), Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, The O.C.), Len Goldstein and Donald Todd (Samantha Who?, Ugly Betty, Caroline in the City), Hart of Dixie also stars, Jaime King (Gary Unmarried), Wilson Bethel (Generation Kill) and Cress Williams (Grey's Anatomy), with Tim Matheson (The West Wing) and Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights). The five-disc set includes all 22 episodes from the first season, plus exclusive extra content, including the “Straight from the Hart of Dixie” featurette, a gag reel, and deleted scenes.
Continuing in the fall for its second season, Hart of Dixie follows the story of New York surgeon Dr. Zoe Hart (Bilson), who unexpectedly finds herself a general practitioner in the tiny town of BlueBell, Alabama — a place where she will learn to be a better doctor, a better person and maybe even fall in love. Hart of Dixie is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Fake Empire, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios.
