Synopsis

Release Date:

October 5,2010

“It’s always been a dream of mine to do a show at the Fillmore.” Witness comedian Bill Burr’s raucous performance at the legendary San Francisco venue when Image Entertainment releases Bill Burr: Let It Go on DVD and digital download October 5th. Mixing hilarity with honesty, Burr is the people’s favorite: using his “uninformed logic” to observe and judge the world he and his audience shares. Includes never-before-seen additional footage as well as bonus features!

Having first gained notoriety for his recurring role on the second season on “Chappelle’s Show,” Burr is a regular performer on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and was the first comedian to perform on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.” His first hour special, “Why Do I Do This?” premiered on Comedy Central in the fall of 2008 to rave reviews and is now available on CD and DVD. Burr can be seen in the Steve Carell and Tina Fey feature film “Date Night,” his “Monday Morning Podcast” has become a fan favorite and this fall he will tour theaters across the country with his new show “Bill Burr: You People Are All the Same.”

Nothing is safe from Burr’s biting satire. The foibles of human behavior – aggravating and endearing – are the perfect foil for his truisms, mockery and wit. Human sexuality, race relations, political correctness, sports, motherhood…all are ready for his comedic analysis, the results of which are presented to his audience for their delight.

Premiering September 19 on Comedy Central, Bill Burr: Let It Go is pure Burr at his most savage: finely honed yet blunt, sublime yet ridiculous. Burr’s performance at San Francisco’s Fillmore represents his humor at its zenith: riotous, uproarious and hilarious!
